Real Projects, Real Results

We've been lucky enough to work on some pretty amazing spaces over the years. Each one taught us something new, pushed our limits, and honestly made us better at what we do. Here's a look at the work we're most proud of.

Lakeshore Commons Before
RESIDENTIAL

Lakeshore Commons

Turning an old warehouse into livable apartments isn't easy, but man, was it worth it. We kept the exposed brick and those massive timber beams - felt wrong to cover that history up. Added floor-to-ceiling windows facing the lake, because why wouldn't you?

  • Size: 42,000 sq ft
  • Units: 28 residential lofts
  • Timeline: 18 months
  • Energy Rating: LEED Gold certified
  • Features: Solar panels, green roof, rainwater harvesting

Location: Toronto Waterfront

Completed: Fall 2022

Innovation Hub After
COMMERCIAL

Tech Innovation Hub

Client wanted something that screamed "future" but didn't feel cold or sterile. We went with this glass and steel combo, threw in living walls throughout the interior, and created these collaboration pods that honestly make me wish I worked there.

Technical Specs
  • Size: 85,000 sq ft across 6 floors
  • Capacity: 400+ workspace stations
  • Timeline: 24 months
  • Energy Rating: Net-zero ready
  • Features: Smart climate control, geothermal heating, bike parking for 100

Location: King West, Toronto

Completed: Spring 2023

Heritage Building After
HERITAGE RESTORATION

Distillery District Boutique

Heritage projects are tricky - you're basically walking a tightrope between preserving history and making something functional for today. We restored the Victorian facade down to the original mortar mix, then snuck in modern systems without anyone noticing. That's the goal, right?

Technical Specs
  • Size: 12,500 sq ft
  • Built: Original structure from 1889
  • Timeline: 14 months restoration
  • Heritage Status: Designated building
  • Features: Original brick restored, hidden HVAC, period-accurate windows

Location: Distillery District, Toronto

Completed: Summer 2021

Community Center After
URBAN PLANNING

Junction Community Center

This one's special to us. The neighborhood really needed a gathering space, and we got to design something that works for everyone - from kids' programs to senior activities. We threw in a rooftop garden that's become the spot for community events.

Technical Specs
  • Size: 32,000 sq ft
  • Spaces: Multi-purpose hall, kitchen, classrooms, gym
  • Timeline: 16 months
  • Energy Rating: LEED Platinum
  • Features: Accessible design, rooftop garden, passive solar heating

Location: The Junction, Toronto

Completed: Winter 2022

Private Residence After
RESIDENTIAL

Rosedale Family Home

Young family with three kids needed more space but loved their neighborhood too much to move. We went vertical - added a second story that looks like it was always there, and reorganized the main floor to actually flow. Kitchen's now the heart of the house, just like they wanted.

Technical Specs
  • Size: 4,200 sq ft (added 1,800 sq ft)
  • Scope: Full second-story addition + main floor reno
  • Timeline: 11 months
  • Energy Rating: EnerGuide 82
  • Features: Triple-pane windows, spray foam insulation, heat recovery ventilation

Location: Rosedale, Toronto

Completed: Fall 2023

Mixed-Use Development After
MIXED-USE

Bloor West Village Square

Replaced an old strip mall with something that actually adds to the neighborhood. Retail on the ground floor, offices on the second, apartments up top. The courtyard design means everyone gets natural light, which was tough to pull off but totally worth the headache.

Technical Specs
  • Size: 95,000 sq ft total
  • Units: 6 retail, 12 office suites, 32 apartments
  • Timeline: 26 months
  • Energy Rating: LEED Silver
  • Features: Central courtyard, underground parking, green infrastructure

Location: Bloor West Village, Toronto

Completed: Spring 2024
